To save her friends and family in the upcoming battle, Jinx needs a tougher, pinker gun, leading her to Ekko’s workshop. Armed only with a Fishbones head and Pow-Pow, she must push her creativity to the limit, transforming these iconic MOBA weapons into tools capable of achieving the impossible.

Upgrade the Power Source

Act 3 it's a trailer-mini-game before the last three series of Arcane Season 2, we explained Arcane's ending in our separate article for viewers who finished watching the series.

After placing Fishbones and Pow-Pow on the workbench, Jinx realizes she needs a stronger power source to bring her creation to life.

To the left of the workbench, a Heimerdinger turret catches her eye. Interact with it, and Jinx notes it doesn’t have enough juice—time for an upgrade. A note next to the pull lever outlines the steps:

• Off
• Little bubbles
• Big bubbles
• UPGRADE!!!

Start by pulling the lever down, and activating the keypad on the console's right side. The keypad will flash a sequence of colorful beeps, which you need to replicate. After two sequences, the turret begins releasing small bubbles—time for the big ones.

Pull the lever again to initiate two slightly longer sequences. For the final stage, you’ll face three sequences, with the last requiring six key presses—stay sharp! Once completed, collect the upgraded power source. Next, it’s time to secure a cooling system to handle all that firepower.

Collect the Cooling System

Start by heading to the back right corner of the workshop and grabbing the fan from the desk. With this in hand, return to the workbench to upgrade Jinx’s gun. But hold on—it’s not finished yet. The gun needs better ventilation, so your next task is to retrieve a pipe from the system at the back of the workshop.

Extract the Ventilation Pipe

To remove the ventilation pipe, you’ll first need to clear the excess air flowing through it by turning the correct valves. There are five valves total, but only four need adjusting in this order:

1. Top right
2. Bottom middle
3. Bottom left
4. Top left

Once the air is cleared, grab the ventilation pipe. Before leaving, interact with Ekko’s Firelight weapon nearby. Jinx will reflect on their bridge fight from Season 1—what could’ve been...

Leave the Workshop

After a moment to process the emotions, return to the workbench and attach the ventilation pipe to complete Rhino. With the gun finished, exit the workshop, where Jinx reflects that Isha would’ve loved the Firelight hideout—cue more heartache.

Before descending the stairs, take a detour around the balcony to read a note attached to the fence about an ongoing meeting. On the way down, notice the large monowheel Jinx and Ekko used to ride as kids. At the bottom of the staircase, a brief cutscene shows Jinx resolving to "show 'em how we do it in Zaun."
