Welcome to EGamersWorld!
As part of our review of The Berlin Major 2023, we have prepared a review of the PSG.LGD - 9 Pandas match, which will be played on 28 April at 12:00 noon CET.
The match, it should be noted, The International is heresy and important. Firstly, PSG.LGD are playing here, having failed utterly in the season.
Secondly, questions remain over 9 Pandas, who look like a cat in a bag at the end of their opening games in this championship.
Finally, the match ѕtunet is important in terms of the tournament position of the teams. There's a feeling that both teams will be aiming for the top 4, and a head-to-head encounter in such a case would play an important role.
We'll tell you what to expect, whether there'll be a winner, and all of that. Here we go.
Form PSG.LGD
We'll start by taking a look at PSG.LGD's uniforms. The Chinese club will play this match as favourites with a pretty big gap in terms of odds.
Bookmakers estimate the odds of victory at around 2.2. The Chinese club deserved such a figure with a very normal debut on the first day of The Berlin Major 2023.
In the German Major PSG.LGD probably for the first time in a season showed the game befitting a grand team, but only in one match. After the expected victory against Execration, PSG.LGD tried to defeat Gaimin Gladiators but the outcome as in the first game was expected.
Basically, that's all PSG.LGD deserved for the pre-match state of affairs. After all, PSG.LGD's overall performance in the 2023 season is, to put it mildly, unimpressive.
While in the first round of DPC 2023, the Chinese were able to take the top spot, the rest was miserable. At the Lima Major 2023, the team crashed out of the top 12 and then gave away the regional championship in the second round, finishing in the top 2 there.
- PSG.LGD: shiro, NothingToSay, zeal, planet, y`.
Apparently, staff changes played an important role in PSG.LGD's "success". With the departures of Ame, Faith_bian and XinQ it's to be expected that the team can't replace them, in spite of season to season.
PSG.LGD's most popular heroes
PSG.LGD haven't had much trouble with the new patch. The team played pretty stable for themselves, with only a slight edit on the meta characters.
They chose Storm Spirit (2 matches, 50% wins), Pangolier (2 matches, 50% wins), Mirana (2 matches, 50% wins).
Also took Chen, Ursa, Phoenix, Beastmaster, Void Spirit, Wraith King, and Rubick (1 match and 1 win each).
If you believe in success of the Chinese team, stake on PSG.LGD for odds around 2.2.
We have a few more details about the Eastern European club.
Form 9 Pandas
We continue our review of the match with an analysis of the 9 Pandas' form. In this match, they are given the role of the outsider.
The odds of the Pandas winning are estimated by the bookmaker to be around 5. That kind of margin over PSG.LGD looks a bit ridiculous.
I can understand that the Chinese are a monumental club with a great history with some serious names under their belt. However, the actual performance shows otherwise.
9 Pandas, compared to PSG.LGD, look much better. The team was top-3 in the local league and made the play-offs of the Major tournaments with a substitute in the carry position.
Later 9 Pandas won their league and the local championship, and also played in the DreamLeague S19, where they didn't make the first round, but gained experience against strong teams that PSG.LGD didn't.
- The line-up of 9 Pandas: RAMZES, Kiyotaka, MieRo, Antares, RodjER .
By the way, 9 Pandas may play in the full roster, because there was information that Solo will miss the first days, and then 3 has already started. However, according to the opening match looked good and with RodjER on 5, so we expect a fight at least.
The most popular 9 Pandas heroes
9 Pandas played Alchemist (2 matches, 100% wins), Bloodseeker, Chen, Skywrath Mage, Techies, Tiny, Doom, Puck, Phoenix (1 game each and win).
If you want to believe in Eastern Europe against a frankly weak China in 2023 - bet on 9 Pandas at odds in the region of 5.
Predicted 9 Pandas - PSG.LGD
It might sound too rash, but it seems that PSG.LGD have come together in Berlin and will show a decent dota. Despite losing against Gaimin Gladiators, PSG.LGD still look good, as we saw in the match against EG.
9 Pandas, on the other hand, are no strangers to the game. Their barkers are playing very vigorously, and Antares is showing an unbelievable level of play.
The result: +1.5 on 9 Pandas.
