Welcome to EGamersWorld.
As part of the breakdown of the first group stage of DreamLeague S20, we have prepared a betting tip for the 9 Pandas - Beastcoast match. The teams will close out regulation Subgroup B matches in a major commercial event.
The climax of the DreamLeague S20 is near, which means literally every match counts. The current situation in Group B adds weight to the match.
Both clubs are still at the top of the standings, but still haven't guaranteed themselves passage to the second stage of the championship. Both sides are likely to end up there, but there's an event here that could be anything. We'll see how it goes in this encounter, whether we find a winner in this b2 or whether we should expect a draw.
Form 9 Pandas
Let's start the breakdown of the match with an analysis of the playing form of 9 Pandas. In this encounter, the team will play at number one.
The advantage of 9 Pandas is underlined by the bookmakers. The odds of a win for the Eastern European representatives are estimated at around 2.2.
For a bo2 such an indicator is quite eloquent and leaves practically no chance for Beastcoast's success. I think the Pandas are a little overrated, but they look really good after their poor showing in the last DPC season. Outside of the home league, though, 9 Pandas have looked more confident since their first season than they have within the DPC, as evidenced by the results.
They started the year in the top 3 at DPC 2023: EEU Division 1 Tour 1, where 9Pandas finished in third place. However, at the first international tournament of the year, The Lima Major 2023, the HellRaisers, then still playing with stand-ups, managed to get out of the group. The stage was set for further achievements.
Such an achievement was the triumph in the second season of the DPC. At that time, 9Pandas finished top 1 in their league, beating all direct competitors, including Team Spirit and BB Team. In addition, 9Pandas surprised everyone at The Berlin Major 2023. In Germany, the Pandas reached the top 3, the best result for the region for the year.
The 9Pandas finished their third DPC cycle with qualification for the last Major of the season, The Bali Major 2023, with a third home league exit.
- The 9Pandas line-up includes RAMZES, kiyotaka, MieRo, Antares and Solo .
"The Pandas have a full squad for this championship. Given the general tournament trend, that's a definite plus. Before the match, 9Pandas are in first place in Group B with 3-2-1 stats and all the cards in hand.
The most popular 9Pandas characters
The most popular 9Pandas character is Skywrath Mage. He has appeared in Pandas games 6 times and has 3 wins.
He is followed by Bounty Hunter (4 matches, 50% wins), Tiny (3 matches, 66% wins), and Bloodseeker (3 matches, 33% wins). Also glimpsed in the pool are Chen and Doom (2 matches each, 100% wins), as well as Enchantress (2 matches, 50% wins).
Beastcoast Form
Beastcoast will face 9 Pandas in the last match of the group stage. The Peruvians will need to play in underdog status.
Bookmakers are not really counting on a BC win. The chance of such an outcome is estimated at odds in the region of 5.4.
A rather fatal figure, but a very logical one. Beastcoast is undoubtedly a good team, but on the background of 9 Pandas looks weaker. Everything they can boast is within South America.
The team won their first league season and finished in top 1 with zero losses. Yes, they had a bit of bad luck on the international stage: Lima Major 2023 ended in the top-12 for bc, and it was their colleagues from the region - Evil Geniuses - who did not let them into the next DPC cycle.
Later Beastcoast took part in DPC 2023 SA Tour 2 Division 1 where the result was identical: 7-0 in regular season and passage to ESL One Berlin Major 2023. The international scene was not for Beastcoast this season - Berlin ended in the top 14 for them, even worse than The Lima Major 2023.
In between was DreamLeague S19, where bc played so-so, but better than the Major ahs. The team finished in the top 6 there and that's their best showing so far on The International stage.
Next up is the third season of DPC 2023: South America Upper Division. After two rounds of dominance, the Beastcoast Ledge and the Evil Geniuses are the strongest team in South America.
- Beastcoast line-up: K1, DarkMago, Sacred, Scofield, Stinger
DreamLeague S20 is going pretty well for the Peruvians. The team is in the top four teams in Group B with a 1-5-0 statistic and if they succeed in this matchup, they'll advance to the next stage of the Million Dollar Championship for sure and without any tiebreaks.
Most popular heroes
Beastcoast has Tusk and Snapfire among their most chosen heroes. Both have appeared in the Peruvian club six times with Tusk getting a 66% win rate and Snapfire a 33% win rate.
Also taking Enchantress (5 matches, 60% wins) and Tiny (5 matches, 40% wins). Also in spades are Terrorblade (4 matches, 100% wins), Pangolier (4 matches, 75% wins), and Batrider (4 matches, 50% win rate).
History of head-to-head meetings 9 Pandas - Beastcoast
The teams have not previously played each other in official meetings. This match is the debut experience of face-to-face encounters.
Match outcome
In this encounter, I expect a roughly even game. The Bo2 format is probably the worst thing about the current competitive system in Dota, but it's at least fun. And there's room for some not-so-expected results.
In our case, the not-so-expected (but betting tirerable) outcome ѕtunet taken map Beastcoast. That's what we're betting on.
Bottom line: +1.5 on Beastcoast.
