The second group stage of DreamLeague Season 20 continues with betting odds on PSG.LGD vs Evil Geniuses. One of the central fights of day 3 of game day 2 of the group stage.
Although there are no big names on the signings this season such as Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid and others, this does not take away from the importance of the game. In this particular tournament, both PSG.LGD and Evil Geniuses are showing their best side, and their games are a pleasure to watch.
It's especially good to see a PSG.LGD performance. There are chances to see a "revival" of the top club, but it's too early to tell.

That's evident from their performance in the first round of the group stage, as well as from the second group stage matches. Especially pleasing was the game against Spirit, where PSG.LGD resorted to not the most popular decisions in spades and still outclassed the Dragons.

Evil Geniuses uniforms
Let's move on to a review of Evil Geniuses' playing form. In this match, they are playing the number two.
The bookmakers don't particularly believe in EG's success, but they leave room for manoeuvre. The odds of an EG win are estimated at around 2.1.
And it seems to be an ideal figure for EG. All season long, the team has been on the "borderline" position, sandwiched between the top clubs and the strong midfielders.
In the first round of DPC 2023 SA Division 1 Evil Geniuses finished second. Lacking a win against Beastcoast. Later, they attended The Lima Major 2023, where they more than made up for their home league loss by finishing in the top 6 at the Peruvian tournament.
Then they play the second round of the DPC in South America and again top-2, and again Beastcoast are ahead. Once again, however, the international scene helps, where EG, in the ESL One Berlin Major 2023, are already in the top 4, being the highest-scoring team from the region in history.
In the third DPC round, Evil Geniuses finally clawed their way to the top of the regional scene. Evil Geniuses won DPC 2023: SA Division 1.

At DreamLeague Season 20 Evil Geniuses played very erratically. So much so that in the first round of the group stage they had to replay their matches against Team Secret and Tundra Esports.
It seems that on a wave of enthusiasm, EG continued to shine in the second stage of DreamLeague Season 20. At least in the first match of the new stage, EG beat Talon and did so very confidently.
Evil Geniuse's most popular heroes
The top most popular Evil Geniuses heroes were Beastmaster and Death Prophet. Both heroes were taken 8 times each and had a 75% win rate.
Following DP and Primal Beast was Leshrac, and most often he was played in the third position. He appeared 6 times and had a 66% win rate.
In addition, Marci (5 matches, 60% wins), Templar Assassin (4 matches, 100% wins), Jakiro (4 matches, 100% wins).
History of PSG.LGD - Evil Geniuses head-to-head encounters
PSG.LGD and Evil Geniuses have played each other three times this year. The first game ended in a draw twice (DL S20 and The Lima Major 2023). The Berlin Major 2023 saw a clean sweep for PSG.LGD.
The outcome of the match
In this game I expect a chaotic, in a good sense of the word, Dota. Both teams look innovative in relation to the other participants in DreamLeague S20, and therefore I expect a lively game from their clash.
As for the winner, I see PSG.LGD. The Chinese squad had adapted well to the 7.33d patch that was issued in the middle of the tournament, as we saw in their match against Spirit.
