Evil Geniuses is the 4th team in the world rankings. Both DPC rounds only manage to finish in 2nd place, as there's absolutely no way to beat beastcoast, but the team is obviously stronger than bc, given the results of the recent majors. EG managed to take the 5th-6th place at the Lima Major, though if they hadn't made a stupid mistake, they could have got higher. Nevertheless, the result is still decent. The Dreamleague Season 19 was slightly worse, ending up in 7th place. At the Berlin Major, they managed to climb up to 4th place, which is a very strong achievement.

Hokori is the 29th ranked team in the world. In the 1st round, DPC played under the Alliance.LATAM tag. They managed to get the 3rd place, leaving behind only bc and EG titans of the region. Before the 2nd round it was decided to change the player of the 4th position. Thiolicor left the organization, and Elmisho was hired to replace him. It didn't help much, on the contrary. They've only taken 6th position and almost made it into 2nd Division. In the 3rd round, they played under the Hokori tag, with two new players in the 2nd and 4th positions. Alone and Michael are playing instead of 4nalog and Elmisho.

Quite a strong line-up assembled by Hokori, but most likely it will take time and effort to get something going. EG are too strong for this region and won't notice such opponents on their way.
