Welcome to EGamersWorld.
We’re continuing to follow the action in the LPL 2025 Split 2 Knockout Stage, where the fight is heating up for two slots at MSI 2025 and the Esports World Cup 2025.
Among the contenders battling for a spot in the next round — and thus for MSI 2025 and the Esports World Cup 2025 — are Anyone’s Legend and Team WE. They will kick off their Knockout Stage campaigns with a head-to-head match.
Let’s figure out which of the two — Anyone’s Legend or Team WE — will come out on top and advance further.
Let’s go.
Anyone’s Legend Form
We begin our breakdown of the match between Anyone’s Legend and Team WE. In this match, Anyone’s Legend are considered the favorites with odds around 1.1 for a win.
Anyone’s Legend are practically newcomers to the league. This is their third season, and they have yet to rise above the lower tier of the standings.
Their best result to date is 11th place at LPL Summer 2022.
Last season, they came close to repeating that “success,” finishing 13th — just two spots shy. This split seems to be shaping up as a turning point.
- Anyone’s Legend Roster: Flandre, Tarzan, Shanks, Hope, Kael.
Anyone’s Legend made a surprising run at LPL Summer 2024, largely thanks to the revised competition format. They started in Group D, where they placed first. Then at the Rumble Stage, they finished 6th with a 3-5 record, which earned them a direct spot in Round 2 of the main stage. They made it through Round 2 of the playoffs but then lost to TES, ultimately finishing in the Top 6.
In the 2025 season, they started strong by winning their group in LPL Split 1. They then had a solid playoff run that ended in the grand final, where they lost to TES, missing out on First Stand 2025.
At LPL 2025 Split 2, they won Group B and later placed second in the Rumble Stage, securing a playoff spot.

Team WE Form
Next in our breakdown of the Team WE vs. Anyone’s Legend matchup is Team WE. In this match, they’re the underdogs with odds around 6.7.
Team WE had a disastrous showing two seasons ago. They placed 15th in LPL Spring 2022 and 17th in LPL Summer 2022. They saw a slight improvement in LPL Spring 2023.
Making the playoffs in LPL Spring 2023 was already progress. They won 8 of 16 matches to qualify for the main stage but couldn’t advance past the Top 10.
After a weak domestic performance, Team WE kept playing in the LPL, entering LPL Summer 2023. They managed to finish in the Top 9 in the group stage, which secured a playoff spot. However, they lost 1-3 to EDG in the first round of the main stage, ending their run in 10th place.
Before Demacia Cup 2023, Team WE also participated in NEST 2023, a hybrid Asian tournament that mixes pros and amateurs. WE performed well in the group stage, finishing second and advancing to playoffs, but were immediately knocked out by JD Gaming, finishing in the Top 6.
Team WE Roster: Cube, Monki, Karis, Taeyoon, Vampire.
They entered Demacia Cup with an experimental lineup. The only non-core player was Prince, but the rest of the team was serious. Still, they failed to make it out of the group stage and finished 12th — a disappointing result.
Team WE, at best a mid-tier team, made it to the main stage of LPL Spring 2024, which was already a good result. However, they couldn’t get past Round 2 in playoffs, finishing 8th.
They also played in LPL Summer 2024, but things went much worse — a 16th-place finish. They ended the year with another 16th place at Demacia Cup 2024.
The 2025 season started much like the previous one ended — with a 16th place finish in LPL 2025 Split 1.
