We'll be talking about the GiantX vs Karmine Corp match. A matchup between teams that, frankly, aren't top tier.

We're trying to see who will be stronger and earn important points on the road to the playoffs.

We open the match with an analysis of Karmine Corp's form. They will play here as favourites with odds to win at around 1.6.

Despite their great popularity in Europe, Karmine Corp is an absolute newcomer to the LEC league. The French team has previously played on the local scene, competing against compatriots, and has also played in various TIR-2 events within the LEC ecosystem.

For 2023, the teami has a very strong record with appearances in 4 tournaments. For professional teams in League of Legends, this is significant, as most of them play exclusively in a single league.

Karmine Corp started with LFL Spring 2023 and started off horribly. At the local league the team played 7-11 in the group stage, which was not even enough to qualify for the play-offs.

Things improved dramatically from there and Karmine Corp lifted the championship trophy over their heads twice in a row. The first time at LFL Summer 2023 and the second time at EMEA Masters Summer 2023. Incidentally, Masters Karmine Corp have won 4 times in the team's history and that is a significant statistic.

The last tournament of last season was the Coup De France 2024 championship. Either there was no priority for the event, or they were not in shape at all, but KC took the top 8 there.

Karmine Corp became a member of LEC through the purchase of a slot from Astralis. The Danish club, which did not achieve results last season, decided to sell its place in the prestigious league. Whether they did the right thing - we will find out later.

In the first match of LEC Winter 2024 Karmine Corp will play against Fnatic. In that match I believe in the victory of Karmine. After that - the game against G2 Esports and there Karmine Corp will be much more difficult. However, with Fnatic everything turned out to be the opposite: KC won, and with G2 Esports - everything is logical, an easy victory for the "samurai".

Karmine Corp officially became the worst team of LEC Winter 2024 ahead of time. Before Long Sogpeg of their last match in the regular season, KC have a stat line of 1-7, with their only win coming in week 3 against SK Gaming. The only treat was the prestige point that Karmine Corp got in their last match of the group stage.

We continue our breakdown of the GiantX - Karmine Corp matchup. In this match they will play Underpassdog status with win odds around 2.1.

The LEC 2024 Winter Split was the debut match for the club, which absorbed the EXCEL slot. Incidentally, GIANTX themselves are the fruit of a merger between British club EXCEL and Spanish club Giants.

GIANTX had a very difficult last season. At LEC Winter 2023, the team completely failed, finishing in the top 10.

The spring split, however, didn't show anything new. GIANTX once again failed in the split and once again came in last.

After two crushingly bad splits, GIANTX changed their forester and replaced Targamas with South Korean legionnaire Peach. The change was a good thing, because there is no other way to explain the miracle-run at LEC Summer 2023.

GIANTX not only finished in the top 3, but also made it to the split grand finals, thus guaranteeing themselves a spot in the LEC Finals. Ledge and Vitality are in the finals, but there is no shame in that, you have to understand.

The achievements of LEC Summer 2023 are at risk of being overturned given the experience of the first match of LEC Finals 2023. In the match against MAD Lions, GIANTX looked more like what we saw during LEC Winter and Spring, but not at the summer split.

In the next match, then EXCEL faced Fnatic. That match was more like something worthwhile and ended in a full-fledged bo5, but in Fnatic's favour. For ex-Excel, LEC Finals 2024 ended with a top-5 finish.

In their first match under the new tag, GIANTX will meet Vitality. I think the Ledge Bees will bee. Next up is The International and the game against BDS. If the French can beat the former, it's hard to believe that they will succeed against BDS.

GiantX barely made it to the play-offs of LEC Winter 2024. They managed to do it only during the last match of the regular season against Rogue. They fell to Vitality in the first round of the main stage, which resulted in a quick 0-2 loss. GIANTX had the same outcome in the lower bracket match, where they fell to the MAD Lions, who eventually reached the grand finals.

GiantX finished in 6th place at the LEC Spring 2024 regular season. In the first round of the LEC Spring 2024 Playoffs they played against Fnatic. There everything ended on two maps. And then there was a fight with Mad Lions in the lower grid and lost with 1-2 score.

GiantX spent three weeks of LEC Summer 2024: Regular Season rather mediocre. The team is in an intermediate 6th place with a score of 2-5.
