In the match for the playoffs spot, T1 faced Gen.G. The former tried, and even led the game 2-1, but couldn't finish it off: Gen.G made a comeback, and Chovy proved to be better than his counterpart Faker.

In the match for the grand final, T1 almost lost to KT Rolster after an excellent start of 2-0. Gumayusi saved them, carrying them to victory on the 5th map with his Xayah.

Next, T1 met Cloud9. Perhaps it was the most crushing match out of all that was seen at this Worlds. Naturally, it ended in favor of T1.

After crushing Cloud9, T1 began to beat Bilibili Gaming, and they succeeded. T1 easily defeated the MSI 2023 runners-up with a score of 2-0.

In the playoffs, T1 played against LNG. Scout, who was not unreasonably called the best player of Worlds 2023, was so only until November 5: T1 wiped out LNG, winning the series with a score of 3-0.

In the semifinals of Worlds 2023, T1 faced, perhaps, the main contender for victory in the championship - JD Gaming. No matter how formidable the Chinese were, they couldn't outplay the experienced T1. As a result, Faker and company won the match with a score of 3-1, and T1 reached the grand final of the most important League of Legends tournament for the sixth (!) time. And then they won it for the 4th time, which is an absolute record in competitive League of Legends and in esports in general.
